Antiques & Collectables Auction Wednesday 6th August 2008 at 10.30am
If you wish to include your antiques for the August sale we can receive them at our saleroms until 24th July. The auction will feaure over 500 selected lots with many illustated on line. There are over 150 lots of C19th & later silver and jewellery including fine diamond set pieces. Estimated at £3,500 is a Ladies 18ct gold and diamond Piaget wrist watch. A Devon property has yielded a wide range of Georgian and later silver together with some attractive antique furnishings including a Geo III supper table, Regency rosewood window seat, rosewood étagère, a Pollard oak large sideboard, vernacular oak furniture, etc. A Clarice Cliff 'Newlyn' jug heads the ceramics section together with Moorcroft, large Troika vases, 15 Royal Doulton figures, C19th Meissen, Dresden, Staffordshire, Belleek, Royal Crown Derby, C19th glassware, C19th boxes, etc. The catalogue will be on line soon.Viewing Tuesday 5th 10am to 7pm and from 9am on sale day.
Included in the August Auction Geo III 'supper' table, C19th French occasional table, Clarice Cliff 'Newlyn' jug, Moorcroft pottery vase.

Collectors Auction Saturday 16th August 2008 at 10.30am

We anticipate another full size Dalek and also Star Wars and Dr Who collectables. .

Quarterley Evening Picture Auction Wednesday 17th September 2008 at 6pm
If you are considering selling Westcountry or fine British Art then we would be pleased to provide valuations and advice for possible inclusion in the September auction.
The sale features a special section for Plymouth artist in particular paintings and prints by Robert Lenkiewicz, Beryl Cook, Brian Pollard and Lee Woods. We have an international base of serious collectors. For the traditional art collector there are good C19th paintings, incl hunting, from one property works by John Frederick Herring (1795-1865), George Morland (1763-1804), John Leech (1817-1864) set of 12 lithographs, 'Snaffles', Basil Nightingale (1864-1940), also Andrew L Nicholl, Irish (1804-1886), Albert Ludovici (1820-1894), Marian Broom (fl 1925-1939). A private colleciton of 14 paintings by St Ives John Miller (1931-2002) includes three fine Venetian scenes.
