Japanese Samurai sword with lacquered scabbard, approximately 97cm long SOLD £700
FALKLANDS CAMPAIGN South Atlantic Medal awarded to Marine Stephen Jacques PO 407968 with ribbon and rosette. Jacques, served with the Royal Marine in the Falklands, aged 18, he was injured by a shell blast on Mount Harriet outside Port Stanley and evacuated on the hospital ship Uganda. Tragically he was killed the year after the Falklands ended when he was caught in a freak 'white out' blizzard whilst on a military ski march in Norway with 42 Commando. SOLD £1,650
